Following three straight rain-outs, Dustin Scott and the DSR team invaded the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota on Saturday, May 12 for a Midwest Modified showdown. Dustin charged from sixth to second in his heat race and later rolled off from the outside of the second row in the A-Main. The Rosemount, Minnesota native was running fifth late in the feature event when handling problems sent him pitside and relegated him to a disappointing thirteenth place effort. The Dustin Scott Racing team ventured back to the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota on Saturday evening, April 14 looking to rebound from a rough opening night. Dustin Scott started eighth in his heat race, but blasted through the field to finish a very close second in his prelim. After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the A-Main, Dustin ran another great race and crossed underneath the checkers in the runner-up spot. APRIL 9, 2012
Dustin Scott kicked-off his 2012 racing season on Saturday evening, April 7 at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota. Unfortunately, his '12 lid lifter is one that he wants to forget very soon, as he was involved in a big pileup during his heat race. After starting third, Dustin was battling for the lead in the prelim when he was turned around by another competitor, which triggered a multi-car incident. His racecar was severely damaged from the wreck and Dustin was unable to even start the feature event. The team will work hard this week to repair the car for the next event at Deer Creek on April 14.

The Dustin Scott Racing team has been hard at work throughout the off-season and plans to open up their 2012 campaign on Saturday night, April 7 at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota.
